Skilling Youth-at-Risk as Stablehands
Mozaika Holistic Centre Ltd has subcontracted EquusTerra Therapeutic Horse Riding Centre — an Affiliated Special Olympics Centre — to deliver an equestrian and vocational pathway for youth‑at‑risk. With support from International Horse College (RTO), participants can complete Certificate I in Racing (Stablehand), a short six‑unit course that builds real skills for long‑term careers in horse‑related industries.
Led by Irina Amelina, Head Coach of the Queensland Special Olympics Equestrian Team, this project blends sport, training, and inclusion to create meaningful futures for young people.

Landscaping our Territory
We are passionate about creating an environment suitable as a calming retreat that fosters inclusivity and connection for neurodiverse individuals. Creating such a welcoming setting near the bustling city involves thoughtful integration of soothing natural elements—like sensory gardens, quiet spaces, and nature trails—providing a sanctuary where individuals can thrive while remaining accessible to urban life.
Special Olympics Equestrian Program
Mozaika has engaged EquusTerra Therapeutic Horse Riding Hub — an Affiliated Special Olympics Centre — to deliver an inclusive equestrian program designed for neurodivergent youth and adults. Building on EquusTerra’s established success, including two riders reaching the World Special Olympics Games, this partnership is now shaping a dedicated pathway for long‑term athlete development within the Special Olympics framework.
The program is led by Irina Amelina, Head Coach of the Queensland Special Olympics Equestrian Team and QLD Equestrian Sport Volunteer Coordinator, ensuring high‑quality coaching and a strengths‑based, dignified environment for every participant.
Together, Mozaika and EquusTerra are developing a clear progression pathway that supports riders from local participation through to State, International, and World Special Olympics opportunities — a project in the making, grounded in real achievement and growing community impact.
